Life insurance
You’ve got your house insurance, your car insurance and even boat insurance. But have you remembered to insure the most important thing of all?
Get A QuoteIt’s not always about you.
While there are some pretty obvious benefits to having life insurance, it’s really more for your loved ones than it is for you.
Here’s our life insurance coverage options:
10 Year Term
Ideal for people that need short term life insurance. Maybe you need a loan, a line of credit or a business loan. This option gives you consistent coverage for a select amount of time and you can renew it every 10 years up until you turn 80.
20 Year Term
This is if you’re between the ages of 40-60 and looking to take care of your loved ones or pay off debts in the event of death. This gives you consistent coverage for a select amount of time and you can renew it every 20 years, up until you turn 80.
30 Year Term
This is if you’re between 18-30 and looking for life insurance that will cover you into your 60’s. This gives you consistent coverage for a select amount of time and you can renew it every 30 years, up until you turn 80.
100 Year Term
This is considered a permanent insurance policy so it does carry higher premiums than Term insurance, but doesn’t have the renewal rates. If you’d like to have life insurance for the duration of your life, and leave enough for your loved ones, this is the policy you’ve been looking for.
Disability
Loss of Income insurance ensures that you’ll be able to afford your monthly expenses if you can’t work due to an injury or illness. You can cover up to 67% of your monthly income and design it to fit your needs and budget. You’ll definitely want to consider disability insurance if you are self-employed, aren’t covered on a group plan, or want to top up your employer’s plan with some additional coverage.
Critical Illness

This benefit can be used at your discrection – whether that’s trying an experimental treatment, keeping up with bills, or travel for medical appointments – it’s your choice.
Individual Health & Dental
If you don’t have Group Benefits through your employer or are self-employed, our Health & Dental benefits cover prescriptions, vision, travel, physiotherapists, and other out of pocket expenses. These plans are very flexible and we can even design a plan to cover your whole family.
Mortgage Life Insurance
A lot of individuals get confused with the terms Mortgage Life Insurance and Life Insurance. To set it straight – they’re the same thing. Mortgage Life Insurance is a term life policy that is the same as what you have with Life Insurance. Banks coined the title Mortgage Life Insurance so clients could relate the coverage to their mortgage.
Nuera VS Your Bank
Protect your family and business by taking full control of your plan choice and coverage amount. Need help? Receive Expert Advice from an advisor, not a sales team member. Our coverage is convertible and renewable, not declining. It is level during the duration of the Term. If you choose to decrease the coverage amount, premiums are altered to reflect the change. Full underwriting is done at time of application, not at time of claim.
You must love your boss.
If you’re self-employed, disability insurance can cover up to 67% of your monthly income and we can design it to fit your needs and budget.
